Just watched a C17 climb up over Calderwood out of Edinburgh airport on a return to Brize Norton. Brilliant sight!

I only asked a polite question - no need to get indignant. Most people post IDs with a sighting either eyeballed or from VR sites - it helps others.

That was a polite reply, however it looks like it might come across as a bit defensive or indignant, no intention of such was meant. Maybe that should be, apologies for omissions.

Hi LJC that exactly what the C-17 - ZZ173 - which came in on Easter Monday did, arrived, taxiied to the taxiway from 06 parked for a short time then departed. I actually had time to get from the Airport that day down to Cramond and saw it on departure from there.......
