Question regarding 7th January?
Hi all just wondered if anyone knew what was going on Last Tuesday 7th January? I got home from an appointment to see on FR24 that there was a C-17 Globemaster BLACKCAT 53 (ZZ174) in the near area, So got myself to my lounge from where I can see Edinburgh 24 Approach and right enough there was the C-17 heading Eastbound over the Forth Area and here was me hoping it was about to do an approach unfortunately it did not. Was it heading to Leuchars or Lossie?

Re: Question regarding 7th January?
ADSB tracking suggests it went to Leuchars then Prestwick (https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=43 ... rackLabels).
(As a hopefully helpful note for trying to find these things on ADSB Exchange, 1. Find and copy a HEX Code from searching for the aircraft's page in FlightRadar24 or elsewhere (e.g. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/zz174). 2. Paste that HEX Code into the end of the ADSB Exchange link: https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=______ 3. Use the History option on the left of the screen to select that date you're after - Well, that's the way I do it, someone else might know a better way).
Or, indeed, ZZ174 is mentioned in this Leuchars thread as performing "Single approach then Circuits" that day - viewtopic.php?f=75&t=250566.
Hope that helps

Not the first time someone has tried to help the OP with trackers etc. I have more than once but seems to fall on deaf ears (or unseeing eyes).
Re: Question regarding 7th January?
It was at Leuchars first for a few circuits before it headed to Prestwick then back along near Edinburgh. Leuchars thread has the info
