Apache

Just had one route over heading South, looked to be overhead Kirknewton Airfield area.

Scanner not available, so unfortunately, no callsign.

Oh that would have been great to have seen, I think I had an emergency shopping trip at the time. Typical.

Reported on Scotavnet to be 'Juggernaut 1' with the HEX code 43C250 which belongs to ZJ187, however this should be ZJ188 which has ZJ187's box installed at present!

Thanks for the info.

Think I read about 'Juggernaut' HEX codes in the Prestwick thread - In the sunshine & at it's altitude, it was just a silhouette, Sun was just too bright to make out anything other than it's shape.😄

Anyone able to confirm please - was there a 2 ship of Apache's around the Forth Bridges sometime around 10am this morning, heading North? Caught them off in the distance briefly before they disappeared behind some trees.

Typical, was helping with a little filing around that time, didn’t have the scanner with me or maybe would have seen them. Just my luck at the moment.

Serials for them on tracking sites have been ZJ199 & ZJ226 this morning, but these will be incorrect.

Did these 2 Apaches land at Edinburgh on their Southbound Journey, just a little confused as I was following them Southbound on FR24, then when I looked on the Edinburgh Arrivals section saw it mentioned they had actually landed.

Thanks Mike, FR24 made it look like they did as when I looked on the arrivals part for Edinburgh it showed 2 Apaches had landed.

I'm not sure what you mean about "the arrivals part for Edinburgh", one of them was showing (probably the lead aircraft) on FR24 as they tracked over the Forth and they didn't go anywhere near the airport.
