*UPDATE

The weather has taken an unexpected turn for the worse with low cloud and poor visibility forcing the NHS Spitfire to return to Duxford.

Further updates will be posted as soon as we have more information. 🌥☁️

* UPDATE 12:50
We have now found a corridor up to Cumbernauld Airport this afternoon and will still be flying the www.justgiving.com/fundraising/nhsspitfire over a handful of hospital waypoints on route. Please take a look at the locations and new timings we will be flying over them in the route below:
The hospital waypoints that we couldn't achieve today due to the poor visibility will be postponed into new routes which we will publish and fly at a later date.

Surprised unless it’s gone private that the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh isn’t on the list, would have been great to see it over there. Sadly can’t get to the ERI or Edinburgh Infirmary.
