Well minority rules its seems, poker climbed out from EDI last night to 5000', still impressive but a sop to Mr Angry at Inverkeithing......

except the bypass ratio on a modern airliner is a tad higher than a military jet. Therfore the presure gradient is higher, therefore the noise is higher. Sound is after all a presure wave. Just the laws of physics I am afraid.

Jedi flight of 3 airborne @ 6.45pm loc, were working up towards Montrose before Edinburgh flypast.
