Hi Marc Sargent yes there is tattoo flypasts this year according to scotsman news to celebrate the 75th aniversary of battle of Britain hope this helps

The NOTAMS times are GMT so you were an hour too early. They flew over on the dot at 7.30 BST
For the avoidance of doubt the exact times and details of this year's flypasts over the Castle are:
9.00pm Mon 10th Hercules
9.00pm Fri 14th Hercules
7.30pm Sat 15th C-17A Globemaster
9.00pm Wed 19th Typhoons
9.00pm Thur 20th Typhoons
9.00pm Fri 21st Typhoons

Thanks for the clarification on the times of the flypasts. I didn't see the King Airs either. I must have been looking in the wrong sky! I'm sure I won't miss the Globemaster though.

It's a radar box thingy that along with the likes of PlanePlotter enables you to view aircraft on your computer.Vector-1 wrote:SBS?

the two that I saw in the Kelty lane post flypast were using c/s VEGA guys.....Heard JEDI on Swanwick tho, back up perhaps? Edin Rad 121.2
