Post by Dex P » Thu Jan 30, 2025 7:19 pm

Hawk from RAF Valley flew right over my house approx 18:12 this evening!
Fantastic to hear, had to check FR24 for info. But to that pilot👍😁🤘 nice to have a bit of RR/Turbomeca roar! Fantastic!
Well that's PLANE to see!

My Planeplotter showed ZK019 doing the approach because I manually MLAT'd it, else it dropped off the radar at about 2,500ft
I lost another south of EDI at 5,000 ft, but it may have been ZK019 just leaping about a bit as a plot

EDI Spotter since 1958 (When it was RAF Turnhouse)

Thanks for the info. I had FR24 to rely on for a small amount of information. Nonetheless, it was amazing to have over the house!
