Just noticed on the list that the next 2 are P-8 Poseidons, would be great if at least one of them was accompanied by a pair of Typhoons like the Atlas' have been......

Being a maritime aircraft, nicer still if they could spare an F35 or two.

I forgot tonight was a flypast night, but since it's only just finished pelting down with rain and there's a lot of cloud, I don't think I'll be missing much an hour from now. Time better spent editing more shots from the cycling World Championship road races methinks.

Cloud base is quite high over the Castle, & it's a little lighter than I expected for this time of night.

So, any guess what aircraft is scheduled for tonight's flypast? THAT'S if there's no weather issues or planes going tech. Heading to usual spot tonight.

I don't know why they bother using P-8's for the flypast as most of Joe Public will think it's just a Ryanair 737 on it's way to the airport.

If it were a Ryanair 737 doing the flypast Michael O'Leary would charge the passengers extra for being part of theTattoo.
