Apparently went through the Selkirk- Moffat valley. Getting busy in there these days, with at least 2 American Hercs through in the last 2 weeks, and a shedload of RAF Hercs.
No one gets out of life alive.

Thank you for your information. Does anybody know what it might have been doing over Edinburgh? When I saw the Puma, it was flying in tight circles over Dean Village for about five minutes with its doors open. It was at fairly low level, lower than what the police helicopters fly at and seemed to be doing some kind of search. It then went off at high speed heading south.
I wasn't even sure the RAF still had Puma's and was unsure of the stripes on it. Much faded compared to the pictures of XW244, but still recognisable because of the white underside as well.
