Nigerian AW101 ??

Post by paul simmons » Mon Oct 06, 2014 4:22 pm

Did anyone note or pick up a Nigerian? AW101 floating around mid afternoon. I saw it heading towards Newquay at 3.
My eyesight ain't as good as it used to be but I'm sure it was white.

Nigerian went to Stansted on the 1st Oct with an A109 for the crew, presumably for delivery?. Not seen any reports of it leaving though?

Saw both fly low and fast pass the living room window heading East Rick last Thursday.

Hi Phil

ZR339 was at Davidstow on Wednesday ( 08/10 ) using the c/s Westland 12. I believe the c/s are pilot related and not the aircraft. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yes Steve, think your right. Call signs are normally pilot related. (Other than when there tasked to do somthing , like a rescue callsign would be )
But in this case think phil's right "westland 08" was up at different times this week and was ZR339. Or at least it was when I spotted it.
