15 Wing withdraw one Falcon 20

Post by Gary » Wed Feb 18, 2015 9:39 am

It appears the Belgians have had to withdraw on of their Falcon 20s due to budget constraints

Hopefully no goodbye-13/02/2015 After 16.192 flying hours imposed Defence decided, in the context of the budgetary constraints and after a thorough cost-benefit analysis, one of the two Falcon 20 aircraft from flight and to condition in one of the hangars of the 15W.
On Friday 13 February-couldn't be more symbolic-taxying at 4.30 pm the Falcon 20 with tail number CM-01 the runway at. some moments later solve the wheels their grip with the asphalt. The plane has left for its last operational mission for the in stock goes.
Our country needs major budgetary efforts to the national debt and to keep the budget on track. Also tighten the belt further defence. The air component does a solid sum of money in the bag by, among others, to put this unit in the stable. At a later time, when there is more clarity on how Defence will look like tomorrow, will be decided if this is only temporary or final.

I have a soft spot for the Belgian Air Component, shame they are suffering like the RAF
Posh are going to Wembley (albeit for a tin cup)
