Your frietjes station will be there from 9 till 24 april, so you can get your snacks every day at the spottershill beginning runway05

Ta Chris
Have'nt been that end before but seen clips from there, seems to be enough places to park anyhow.
I suppose the best shots you can get there are off the recoveries, are they?
Went on the hill years ago and nearly dropped dead it was that cold after an hour.
That was when we went on a train up from Amsterdam,we'll have a car this time.

These are my shots from that road - all recoveries as you say: https://www.flickr.com/photos/chrisglob ... 865432626/

From memory, everything goes almost ballistic on departure from 23, so no chance of shots from the mound :( Similarly, 05 departures do so as well, so no good from that end.

Departures from 23 are most definitely possible aslong as the sun isn`t shining, although a few do still keep it relatively low they make a sharp right before levelling again for noise avoidance on departure.
Finnish Hornets always climbed immediately while F-16`s,Gripens and occasional German Eurofighter would keep it low, luck of the draw really.

Tanker support from Eindhoven. Not mentioned yet. But also great photo opportunity.

Can anyone tell me whether there are any non-flying days during this exercise please, and if so on which dates?

Only in the weekend, all other days 2 waves depending on the weather, last friday (24/4) only a morning wave and maybe a very small afternoon wave, but you can expect that day several transport aircraft
