Also noted was a-7 at the us navy gate, around 6 t-33's at the end of runway and a msytere? Any help would be appreciated

Andy
From a earlier visit a couple of years ago I logged the following:-
T-33A -19039/TR-039, 29925/TR-925, 35490/TR-490, 35889/TR-889, 41575/TR-575, 35155/TR-155, 58520/TR-520, 58597/TR-597, 58687/TR-687,
58691/TR-691, 63663/TR-663,
I didn't check them in March this year but nothing seemed to have changed.
The A-7 is 160873

Andy
I found the based F-16s flew two or three times a week, however when they did fly they chucked up a good few. There is normally a Fri pm/ Mon am Herk flight but apart from that the Americans contributed a couple of movements per day.
Saw your photo post, nice pictures, were they taken from the Eastern sea end?
For anyone thinking of going to Crete for a holiday there is a lovely little hotel called the Areti suites which happens to be on the western approach, you can sit in the roof terrace and photograph arrivals.
