Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone is using the u4/3 system successfully at airshows? I'm just coming from a great Nikon setup but found I was taking my dSLR out less and less in favour of a small cam. I've just got a Panasonic G5 and a few lenses, including the Panny 100-300.
I'm guessing that even if the AF is fast enough, due to the way mirrorless cameras work then there is probably blanking in the viewfinder between shots which would make tracking difficult?
It'd be good to hear any real world experiences.
Thank you ...... Mark
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....
Anyone using u4/3 for airshows?

Was wondering how you have got on with your G5 and 100-300 was thinking of going down the same road.

Bump. Having a quick gander through the board as I got an Olympus E-M10.
Impressed with it out in the field. Tried it for Blackpool show this year and got some decent results, although could have done with more reach (150-600mm equiv).
Overall, a nice lightweight system.
