Non Flickr user

Post by Goatfish » Tue Jul 02, 2024 10:07 am

Hi, i was attempting to post a picture right from my laptop but it seems that i can't do that?

As i don't have (and don't want) a hosting site like Flickr, is there any other way of posting pictures?

Thanks

Of course, you could host your own file server.

There are loads. They are not all as reliable or as trustworthy, so I guess recommending Flickr was seen as a decent option. Feel free to use another service but I have not tried any: imgur, photobucket, smugmug or have a look here: https://www.ukwebhostreview.com/best-we ... ographers/

Dont no why you have to use a third party to load photos on here [with OFCG] you do not have to, perhaps some one could explain why?

Because it's very expensive for the owners of FC to have a web server with enough storage to hold everyone's photos for all of eternity.
