Evening all, This maybe a daft question with an obvious answer, I don't know.

My Canon 5d Mkii ,which I don't use all that often, has suddenly developed tunnel vision. I can crop it out, but thats not ideal if its a landscape shot etc. I don't know whether I have pressed a button without knowing, but its never done it before. Incidentally ,its done it since putting 2 different Tamron lens's on it.

I have tried a few different setting, but it is still doing it. Any ideas or pointers would be appreciated. Also it doesn't seem to have tunnel vision with my 70-300 Sigma lens.

I know you have nothing better to do on a Monday evening, lol. Love to hear your thoughts.

I assume you mean vignetting, where the corners are darker... that's normal on a FF camera when using a short focal length lens.

Easy to fix in post by applying a camera correction in LR etc.

Are the Tamron lenses designed for a 1.6 crop body but fitted with a normal (red dot) EF mount? This would cause serious vignetting on a full frame body. All Canon lenses designed for use on 1.6 crop body have EF-S mounts (white square dot) to prevent this issue. But some third party manufacturers (Sigma definitely, and others probably) produced some lenses for 1.6 crop sensors with the standard red dot EF mount. This was from the early days of 1.6 crop bodies before introduction of the EF-S mount (D30, D60, 10D).

If you can post the type/model of the Tamron lenses here, I'm sure we can check whether they're for crop of FF use. I suspect the former.

Thank you for your comments, having also chatted with a colleague from work, this seems to be the case, that they are better suited to the crop sensor (APS-C) camera bodies, as I do not have an issue with either of them on my Canon 750d. Everyday is a schoolday, and happy to have got to the bottom of the reason why they are misbehaving on the 5d.
