Can anyone recommend decent camera insurance, for when you're out and about!

I use Aduki for PLI but they do insurance for kit as well. You might find you can add on to your home contents insurance quite cheaply.
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

I've got mine covered against all eventualities (all risks) on my contents insurance, also covers accidental damage if I decide to be clumsy - barely adds anything at all to the policy so might be worth asking whoever you're insured with.

I'm with NFU and you can specify maximum amount for a single item so you set the threshold for your most expensive bit of kit and stay safe in the knowledge that everything else will be covered.

For amateur use I find home insurance provides good cover but means shopping around to find the ones that offer it. Also check it’s not just away from home. Sometimes they want proof of valuation, which isn’t necessarily an easy hoop to jump through.
