Looking for a Canon Wide angle to 100 or so lens, anyone any advise on what to look at,already own a 100-400 plus a 300 f4 prime

Canon 24-105L works for me

24-105/4L is a good sharp lens, and getting relatively cheap 2nd hand now there's a mark 2 version. It has IS which as long as your subject isn't moving gives you at least an extra stop, maybe more depending on how steady you can hold the camera. What body are you using? If not full frame then the lens works out to approx 38 - 170mm, so not that wide.
