What lens

Post by Maf863 » Thu Jul 13, 2017 6:50 am

Hi all,

I have the sigma 150-600c simple question, would this be too big to use at RIAT? I have a cheaper sigma 70-300 which I have used at Duxford. Also have sigma 18-250 which is my "general use" lens.

I shall take all my lens as I'm there for the three days.

Any general thoughts really as this is my first "major" airshow with some upmarket gear.

Kind regards
Mark

Bigger is better, provided there's enough light.

I'll be taking

24-105 L
70-200 f2.8 L
100-400 Mk 2 L

24-105 for Statics, 100-400 for the displays unless is dark & dingy

18 - 250 for static and then strap on the 150-600mm for the flying!

Carrying the all around is going to be the problem. Use the 150-600 if you can. I am using my 150-500 tomorrow
