Put this up on Twitter last night to get some constructive criticism, in the end this is what I have, does anyone else have any thoughts before I waste some time uploading it to Airliners.net?

Cheers Ben, will apply a little more USM when I get home, where's the purple fringing? Can't see it on my monitor at work and my home one is a bit knackered anyway until I can recalibrate it!Ben Montgomery wrote:Looks a bit soft Chris, especially around the winch. Bit of purple fringing on the wheels as well.
Thanks. I wish it was! Taken with the kit 75-300 that came with the camera, can't afford anything else at the momentBen Montgomery wrote:Right on the bottom it looks like Chris, this wasn't taken with a Sigma 70-300 was it? Looks similar to the fringing my brother got out of his.
Thanks Steve, looks like another one for the personal collection then!SteveS wrote:The purpling is most pronounced on the bottom edge of the left hand wheel, as we look at it, I think. The winch is a little soft as is the area just above it.

First one looks a tad hazy, so maybe thats what they mean by contrast?Dunk wrote:4/4 rejected - all for the same reason - Soft/Contrast
I keep getting this contrast rejection, but I dont see it, some people have mentioned Halo's, but I really dont see them lol!!! im only applying around +6 of contrast and one stab of Sharpen at around 40% and 0.2 size.

I thought the same when I saw that and was even more surprised when I saw it get into top top 5 of the last 24 hours. I wonder how close that is to the original image!Dunk wrote:Can someone explain to me how the hell this got accepted, and when did the Red Arrows change to Green smoke?!!
