Sigma 150-600 Sport

Post by ben771820 » Mon Dec 09, 2024 6:31 pm

Hello all,

Just started using a Sigma 150-600 sport on a Sony A7 iii.
What settings are folk using for the on lens options? Mainly the OS and Custom?

Am I right in thinking OS mode 2 is best for fast panning shots (LFA for example?)

Thanks in advance.

Hello Ben. I don't know the answer really on the settings, but generally speaking the sport lens is liable to work a bit better on fast moving objects. ie the Mach loop and air displays, in comparison with the contemporary version which is what I have got. OS2 is better for the fast moving stuff because it stabilizes both horizontally and vertically. So I do use it a lot. Especially for the afformentioned.

Hope that is of some help.

All the best
John 'flightpath'.
