Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone has sold any camera equipment to MPB? if so how do you rate their service, is the price quoted far out once they have looked over it. Will they knock you down like we buy any car.com.
Thanks,

Never had a problem with them. Usually agree with my grading. Increased once as I erred on the side of caution. Only reduced once but that was my fault as the camera battery was faulty and I hadn't checked it. I tend to sell through them and buy from Wex because I can get to a physical store, but that's just my preference.

If you're honest about the condition they will honour the quotes, I've never had anything reduced and in one case something significantly increased once they had it. They seem fair and less hassle than selling privately.

Good news, I'm about to sell a Canon 5DII, a III and a 50/1.4 to fund a 5D IV. I was thinking of using them.
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

I've never had anything reduced from the quote. Probably half were at the price they quoted and the rest they increased the offer once seen.
You need to be honest about the condition though as per their guidance.

It may be worth speaking to Harrisons in Sheffield too. I have always found they are great to sell to and I have generally found them the most generous with their valuation.

I've used MPB for many years, never a problem, I would rate them highly.. :thumb:
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Great people to deal with, I've been using MPB for years, practically all my gear has been sourced from them. They also offer very fair quotes for part ex items, in fact on two occasions I've actually had initial quotes upgraded by MPB. Definitley the 'go to guys' for me. :thumb:
