Scanning prints

Hi all
Iv'e been thinking about getting me self a scanner to scan some of my old prints from the late 80s and 90s mainly of Airshows, also lots from Mildenhall and Lakenheath (loads of 135s that may be interest).
I'm just wondering if its worth it, if so which scanner to get?

I've just finished photographing some old 35mm slides and used an LED light pad (https://huion.uk/item/146-587/huion-la3-led-light-pad) with my DSLR with a macro lens. I don't know the difference in quality, but I borrowed the light pad and I've got 20Mb 'scans' so was a no brainier for me.

Thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately i threw out the negatives years ago so only have the prints.

Have little experience scanning from prints as most of my images are on 35mm slide!

However, you won't go far wrong in taking a look through this article and see what may not only suit your budget but also be easy to use
