Gando Ocean Sky 20 in October

Ocean Sky 2020 runs from October 17 to 30th at Gando.

This years participants include 11, 12, 14, 15, 36 and 46 Wing. Plus an A400 for refuelling from 31 Wing. What is nice is the Spanish Navy will have their Harrier AV-8Bs present.

Overseas aircraft attending include French Rafales and a C-135FR, plus the usual E-3F Sentry.

Due to Covid19, there is no spotters day.

TK.23-07 is the A400 at Gando and is plotting on FR24. The exercise is being held about 50 miles south of the Canary Islands if its circuits are anything to go by.

A further A400M (TK-23-08) arrived on the 28th, plus a C130. Presumably to collect the various bits of equipment at the end of the exercise.

I would have gone again this year had the spotters day not been cancelled due to Covid 19
