Does there seem to be any pattern as to when they are flying sorties? Like AM and PM or both etc? I arrived in Gran Canaria yesterday and trying to work out whether to go to Gando Weds or Thurs and what times to be there. I’m on the west side of the island though so it’s quite a distance via public transport hence the question. Thanks

In previous DACT/Ocean Skies exercises and as previously reported in these posts, there have been both morning and afternoon sorties. Plus the occasional check out flight.
If you come over to the base, don't forget should you wish to do something else, there is also the Casa 212 memorial in the town, the nearby aerodrome, Cocodrilopar refuge and Sioux City Cowboy village. All worth a visit.
Send me a pm if you need exact locations.
P.

There was a Spanish A310, NATO C-17 and an A400m (can’t remember which Air Force) yesterday. I didn’t see them although I was tracking them via ADSB hoping they would come past the area I’m staying. Alas they didn’t although we did get a Spanish CASA 295 earlier yesterday.
