Not sure if this post should be in the Airshow Photography or the Warbirds, Replicas and Nostalgic Photography - if a moderator moves the post I will not be offended.

The following were some of the Lockheed Hercules in the 25th Aniversary line-up taken on 23rd June 1979 at the International Air Tattoo at Greenham Common.

Sorry for the general poor quality but the quality of my slides was not great.

Wow ! I remember it very well, especially the C-130A - what a line-up that was.

I've still got the original check-list as well.

Excellent post , remember it well , great line up of aircraft .

Brilliant, remember all the excitement about that C130 lineup....

That brings back memories!

TC-67 was the first C-130 I ever went on

What a post.

It's like going back through a 33 year time warp.

I remember the guard dog on the Israeli C-130.

Was anyone else in the FIAT enclosure on arrivals day to witness the F-104(can't remember whose it was) that flew right over the top at about 100ft on full burner.

Lovely stuff. That's got the ol' memory banks going.

I love all the different colour schemes of the participating nations, these days all we seem to get is various shades of grey

What a fantastic line-up it was too - probably about half a mile of C-130s from all around the world.

Great stuff. Look at all those different schemes, great days..

it was a great line up and a trek... another year it was the KC-135's turn another trek and if I remember there was no bus running to the end and back...

my log book for 1979-1981 is double its usual size and the ink's run so I had to buy a pencil while there to carry on logging, so you are probably right.

Cracking pics. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to visit Greenham Common, what a regret that is.
