A quick edit of the Puma making possibly it last ever public appearance before retirement:

Another great event with thanks to Phil and the team.

And the rest:

And the award for the best dressed pilot at a nightshoot: Rich Pillans, Chief Test Pilot of Boeing UK explained to a few of the gathered photographers that he had "period dress" with him that would have been worn whilst ferrying an executive passenger around in the late 50's.

Lovely shot Keith! Thought it was a great event and needed to be in a few different places at once when the Puma, Wildcat and Apache started  Thanks for posting.

And a side view of the Bell 47H first flew 1955, seventy years old !
The retiring Puma was a youngster at 52 !

Excellent photos. I particularly like the Bell 47H, a type I don't think I've ever seen before, let alone in the UK.

One small correction, the pilot's name is Rich Pillans, not Pillars. I've had the pleasure of flying with him in a different Bell 47 and he doesn't just look the part, he's a true gent!
