Athens Flying Week 2024 - Tanagra (Part 2)

For Part Two its a look at the non-Greek participants at the event, a bit of a thin showing this time around possibly due to Athens, Air Power, the (sadly cancelled) Bucharest event and Sanicole all taking place in a two week period. The non-Greek static consisted of a German EF2000 from TLG-31, Italian AF F-35A, Austrian specially marked PC-7 (tightly barriered), USMC AH-1Z and MV-22B. One of the two Saudi Typhoons was parked in the western static each day with the specially marked example there on Saturday, standard jet on Sunday. The flying display saw the Austrian PC-7 solo display, Saudi Hawks, Saudi Typhoon, Spanish Patrulla Aguila (who flew as a 5 ship), Swiss PC-7 Team and French AF Rafale pair 'Requin Mike' demo who were a big disappointment for me when compared to what we have seen from the French with past pairs tactical demos.
Heat haze was an on/off issue and a fair bit of the stuff was a little distant for decent photography - a common theme at a lot of events nowadays. All that said, I didn't go to Greece for the 'other' stuff and had a great time over the week. A few pics to close, thanks for taking the time to have a look.
