I attended the RAF Brize Norton Air Mobility Fleet photoshoot organised by Threshold Aero. We were hosted by 99 sqn utilising their ramp which had 2 C130s, the newest A400M and a C17. There were a couple of bonuses such as an extra C17 that was due to depart but had its sortie scrubbed so was another airframe to photograph as well an addition on the day of ZZ333 Voyager on the apron just next to the main terminal building.

The light was nice, if not a little harsh in the afternoon but was definitely not complaining, especially with the access we had to the airframes and 2 Hercules just before their retirement.

Great shots, I had been booked on the planned COAP shoot that got cancelled, managed to get to Brize last month and get some arrivals and departures of the C130s.

Thanks Bollo, it arrived on the 22nd and it hasn’t flown yet from Brize
