I went to the evening show at Old Warden on Saturday, my first evening show for a while and a super evening it was with excellent weather, here is a selection of my photos....

they were using runway 02 so the aircraft were towed to the southern end of the airfield before the show started, so some interesting angles as they passed us, you'll see more of the Lysander later

the Lizzie featured in a special ops re-enactment at the end of the evening demonstrating a night time landing in France, I have darkened these a bit to make it more realistic to twhat they would have encountered...

Nice set Andy, 2nd practise Friday afternoon the bunting held up for a good few circuits. Pity it didn’t work on Saturday but heyho.

Great picture of the Comet being towed, brings that element of the show to life

Thanks for the comments everyone, it made an interesting change to be at the southern end and I shall try it again when they are using runway 02.
There were some nice angles at that end and take off and landing shots were easy although there were very few visiting aircraft otherwise we may have had our view blocked at times.
