Blue skies and burners, what's not to love about RIAT!
Some of my display favorites from a rather hot weekend:


1. The reptile jet broke for both display days but the other jet looked just as good.


2. Probably winner of the noisiest display.


3. First time of seeing the Black Jack aircraft perform, impressed!


4. Great show from the South Korean Black Eagles, loved the skywriting of the national emblem.


5. Very energetic display though I preferred the more colourful Zeus ac.


6. Austrian QRA role demo was excellent, RIAT should do more of those.


7. High G recovery from the very photograph friendly Spanish Hornet display


8. Not fast air but definitely a unique display.


9. Solo Frecce Tricolori hanging on his own smoke. Cool.

Hope next year's show is just as good and as blue!

Absolutely amazing photography... how do you pick a favourite... very difficult... but No 9 just says everything for me.

Many thanks for the kind comments everyone, much appreciated. A couple more that stood out...


Only caught the Swiss F/A-18 Hornet on the Saturday but another great display, shame it was always in the late slot.


The Italians always but on a show and the EF2000 display was a great opener.

Hi Rob - I mostly use a Canon 5D mk4 with a 500mm lens and then Lightroom to tidy the images up.
