Glad that you think so too.
Out of curiousity, the helo shot was logged at 1300hrs, the following was taken at 1303hrs. So i wondered whether 013 of ??Sqdn is the swept one joining?? It is coming from the north so perhaps from Scotland? Beyond my knowledge.

Just looked at the snap. WAD .? So it would be the last Waldo show. From memory I was located north of the approach so all fixed wing were taken stbd side on

These were both taken on Friday July 5 2013 at Waddington, Tornado GR4 is ZA404/013 of 617 squadron, Merlin HM1 is ZH838/70 of 814 squadron. The Tornado was scrapped at Leeming 3 months later.
