Historic Helicopter Day.....Wet 'n' dry

Post by J8501254 » Fri Aug 06, 2021 10:34 pm

This show was really great. We were lucky enough to camp the night before, so got to see the helicopters in the sun!

Best part for me was the evening before the show, we got to have a beer with the owners and pilots and made for a wonderful experience.

Such a shame the day was so rain affected, but boy was the display at the end worth the wait (the scout was amazing).

Any way, here are few of my poor efforts....

Hi Tim,
I wouldn't say poor efforts at all.
The helicopters in the evening light are really good and show off the wonderful location.
Image 3706 is a belter.
All the best

Thank you Sir
We were definitely lucky with the weather the night before. It was just nice to get back out to a show!

Nicely done, I'm finding myself wishing I was there the evening before now!
