Two Saints Photoshoots - Mawgan & Athan
Two Saints Photoshoots - Mawgan & Athan
I recently attended the two photoshoots organised by the Thereshold.aero team, a glorius afternoon and evening in north Cornwall and a very wet evening in South Glamorgan.
For me, I think what set the two photoshoots apart from others was not just the subject matter (aircraft) but the consideration of their setting. At both St Mawgan and St Athan the aircraft were displayed at dispersed locations with suitable backdrops (where possible) complimenting their Cold War heritage.
A selection of the pictures i came back with.

I'm very much looking forward to the forthcoming Yeovilton nightshoot with Threshold.aero and hope that Somerset can offer better weather than south Wales.

Excellent photos Neil!
Cornwall Aviation Heritage aircraft look great in the sunshine, but the rain gives the St Athan photos an extra edge. They are well worth the effort!

Beautiful set. The water actually enhances the pics because of the reflections it creates.

That Gannet looks as lovely as ever - any update on it's restoration to flight?
I really hope one day to see it back in the air again...
