Eat Sleep RIAT Repeat

Post by JonoUK » Sun Aug 18, 2019 7:33 am

Hi All,

So another RIAT has come to past, here’s my record from a consierbaly more damp and cloudy event to last year. I did feel the show was a little on the light side on any other day than the Saturday so will be interesting to see how that plays out in subsequent years. The MiG, Harriers and Flanker were an awesome big three though. On with the show.

Top class set of images. Lovely mate. Note the shock wave around the stabilator on the spang f-16. Just shows how much pressure that flight control is under.

Awesome, I would be happy if my pictures were even one tenth as good as yours! The Chinook is brilliant....

Very nice, pictures. Despite the dark weather, I like those the best.

That is some impressive set of photos! Just think, there were loads of people saying this year was going to be lacking variety!

Great set of photographs. I like the ones with the dark sky background - I prefer that to absolutely clear blue sky from the photography point of view.

Absolutely beautiful set of photographs, really cannot praise them enough. As I looked through them though, I couldn't help but ask the question, "Why on earth did we get rid of our Harriers?"
