Here are my highlights from the 2019 Cosford Air Show.
I went the the extended family and its fair to say everyone went home happy
Although it took us 40 minutes to leave the site at the end of the day I thought traffic management was better than last year, especially in the morning. It was good to see that the M54 road signs have been changed to make it clear that the hard shoulder and lane 1 were for the air show unlike last year when only the hard shoulder was sign posted and the tailback was horrific.
We were really lucky with the weather, despite the forecast of rain it stayed dry all day, but the white cloud made photography challenging in the middle of the day. However the dark clouds and then broken sunshine at the end of the day gave us some better photo opportunities

Re: Cosford Airshow Highlights
First class set Yunglee with the Gripen + Apache outstanding. I agree about the better traffic management this year having been caught up in the M54 tailback last year. Also about our being lucky with the weather, given the monsoon conditions just up the road @ Shawbury which are evident on some of the posts. Still find it hard to accept having to travel down to the W.Midlands to see an RAF Show given that in the '90s it was possible to attend three shows in God's Own. Thought the Scampton show was a good solution but alas turned out to be a one-off. Also how about adding a pic of the Tucano display with it being on the brink of retirement?

Very nice set there Lee. I thought the traffic situ was better this year aswell. Much better than 3 years ago when I last went. I set out earlier too so was parked on the airfield which meant I didn't have to lug everything around all day. Very lucky with the weather. I found it provided some moody backgrounds which was good for me. Love that Apache shot.
RIAT next for me.
Cheers
