Monino, hangar 6b and inside the Bear, normally you'll get four people there at a time, seemed like four thousand today.

Thanks, well worth the visit. hangar 6b is only open on three special days each year, don't know why. I thought there would be more visitors it being Victory Day, but there were lots of people and traffic chaos, still worth it.

Very nice and interesting place by the looks of it. Didn't look that busy considering it was Victory Day.
Cheers.

Very interesting

I like the picture in the cockpit of the Tu-95 bear with two Phantoms.

Can't make out which unit they are from? They appear to have a Star and Bar but are missing USAF titles.

Bartini Beriev VVA-14; sort of wing-in-ground effect aircraft similar to the ekranoplans

We arrived at Monino at 0930 and the car park was full with parking having to be done in the forest area, on leaving there were hundreds of people walking in and cars were parked everywhere on the road to the highway, the traffic police seemed to be quite bemused by what was happening. This was a free entry day, considering things, they are missing a great opportunity to raise much needed funds
