I was lucky enough to be able to go out to Japan and include the show for both days. Saturday, which was a much better day, was spent outside and inside on Sunday which was dull and overcast for much of the day. I don't normally post pictures of this size as I use a smaller format for my website. I hope you like them:-

A screen full of Phantom's what is there not to like.. brightens the dullest of January days, excellent set many thanks for posting.

It does not get any better than a screen full of F-4s.Great work,wonderful colour schemes,still looking awesome after all these years.

Very nice set, given the well-documented dodgy/ cloudy skies on the Sunday. Out of interest, were you at the Towers for the Saturday shots? Can't quite match the shot angles to backgrounds just yet.

Yes, I was at the Peace Towers for the Saturday although from watching the practice earlier in the week we knew we would be a bit under the flying for some of the items. As a result we walked back to the road leading to the 'Back Gate' to the base and stood on rough ground there. That gave us a better angle.

Thanks for the comments guys, I have loads of shots of the other display items and from activities from the other four days we spent there. Fantastic location but time is running out with the first F-2 replacements moving in later this year.

Thanks for the info' feedback. Whilst sad that the F4 era at Hyakuri is ending, the transition period of 'blue' F2's & coloured Phantoms will be an irresistible combination in such an accessible location. Anybody able to confirm when the Aggressor TDY for 2019 will be?
