Tricky days' photography yesterday, the light was awful, and my camera seemed to be having an off-day. So, not my best efforts ever, but some are acceptable, so here they are.

Thanks Pete. That constant pale grey cloud, with no sun to light the planes, was a frikkin' nightmare - they all look like silhouettes against the cloud. I'd tried a couple of different settings to my norm, don't think they helped either.

Wow! First-off I think you need to be a little more selective in posting just your best shots? There are 2, maybe 3 instances of double-posting the same shot, or so damn close it's the same? Colour & composition of the ground shots are mainly very good, but the horizons are all over the place. The 'flying-shots' by your own admission were beyond your capability, so a prudently reduced number of highly similar images would probably have been better! I do think heaping disingenuous on your efforts is not going to help you improve in the right areas. If you start by realising the camera can't have an "off-day" & it's all down to the user, that would be a good start. Please refer to image compensation, centre-spot metering & post-processing to see how you can up your game in much less than perfect shooting conditions. I trust you will accept these comments as helpful, if not just ignore them.
