It was a 800km trip but well worth. We started early morning in Diepholz for a nice and fast visit. This small airfield is the home of the Weapon System Support Centre 2 (WaSysUstgZ 2) also doing the overhaul on the CH-53 helos.
The afternoon we went to Faßberg, home of the technical school of the Luftwaffe (TAusbZLw) and the Army Helicopter Transport Regiment 10 (THR10) There was much more to see but also more clouds in the sky....

Great set from somewhere different.

Liking the one of the Special Forces demo. German Open Days always worth a visit. As is the Helicopter Museum @ Buckeburg if you're ever over there again.
