Hi all,

I decided to visit Cleethorpes to see the flying display at the armed forces day event. It was a great day, which was rather lucky with the weather (asides a single shower), however the flying display seemed very spread out, with large gaps between items. Could have done with a few extra items adding to the line up considering this was the National event, still a great day with some nice flying on show. Highlights go to the helicopters, Chinook and Black cats were great to see.

Really nice set like the 3 one of the Reds great angle.

Did the Typhoon show up ?

Two typhoons flew straight over the march past (coming from over the sea) at 1.06.

Thanks -shame they did not do a display for people.

Typhoon Display team were at Florennes airshow in Belgium all weekend so they couldn't display at Cleethorpes, so the next best thing was to provide the flypast instead. Nice shots, good to see the event had good weather.
