For the first time in about 8 years of visiting this air show - conditions were cloudy :S (on Saturday anyway).

Sunday was a better day so I made visits on both days this year - photo's more or less in order of taking.

The German P-3C Orion crew were quite rightly proud of their countries World Cup success :P

The Sun did decide to come out for the Red Arrows - as did most of the other aircrew :)

Sunday saw us sweating it out in front of the huge Lufthansa hangar - where a couple of colourful 737 were parked up

A lovely fly by was performed by Air Malta A320 (9H-AEQ) and the Red Arrows to celebrate 40 years of service for Air Malta, and 50 display seasons for the Red Arrows :thumb:

Nice photos, thanks for posting.
Was that a 707 behind the Frecce Tricolori?

It's a 720, even rarer. N720JR.

Yep - as Flat Cap says it's N720JR.
She was parked there (along with a BAC1-11) when I first visited Luqa in 2005 - I have been told she arrived in 2004 and hasn't moved since. :(
