Here are a few shots from a very sunny show at Old Warden . It was nice to see the volunteer air field fire service being awarded Queens Award for Voluntary Service for 2015 .
The flying was great as it always is , it was just a pity the Comet didn't fly . I tried a spot by the access gate for this show as it was one of the only spots with a clear view of the runway , it seemed to work ok , but probably could have been a bit further to the south to catch the planes taking off as they were a bit high by the time they got to us . Overall an excellent show , roll on next month .
