For once, the presence of 'people' compared to the reenactors that pitch up at places like Duxford actually enhance the pictures.
Or is it that it could have been me 50 odd years ago!
They really have got it right.... SLR, DMS boots, puttees, turtle pot steel helmet even the haircuts!

And the dude in the Mk3 noddy suit is actually wearing it right (although we rarely saw NBC overboots on exercise- war issue only).

Actually, on closer inspection he hasn't checked his seal round his respirator facepiece- he wouldn't have lasted long in a contaminated environment!

I wonder if he's put the suit through the block washing machine a few times to take the charcoal out (cooler and more comfortable) and taken the filters out of his training respirator cannister (easier to breathe).
