Race Day 2024 at Shuttleworth

First time attending a true Airshow at Shuttleworth in a long while and even against the weather odds, I decided to brave the drive across to Shuttleworth for a day of cars and bikes with the all important airshow in the afternoon!

Some highlights for me were definitely the 2 Spitfire and Gladiator display, with the Spitfires being flown expertly by Stu Goldspink in AR501 and John Romain in the PR XI as well as the Bronco which was a brilliant display given the conditions and really made the most of the bend at Shuttleworth!

Can't wait to get back to some more Shuttleworth airshows next season!

Thanks for sharing these, another great selection of shots and some variety too. Nice to see the SE5a active, it does have combat history too, as on the day before Armistice was called, it downed a German aircraft.

It was a good day but definitely one of the coldest shows I've ever been to.
