A nice mix of aircraft there - I especially like that Auster (I didn't know there was one flying around in that scheme) - Abingdon certainly had a good mix of random historic types in the fly-in/static display.

Thanks for sharing these, a nice selection of shots. The P-47 is nice to see. That Auster was once part of the Shuttleworth Collection, but was sold off years ago. It would be nice to see them get another one. That scheme was applied back in 1969 when it participated in the England to Australia Air Race. I know it didn't win and not sure if it even completed the race. But nice to see that it's still active.

I missed this one due to having a hip replaced; so it's great to see such excellent photos of the event. I would have loved to see the C-17 arrive/depart!!!!
