Lightning Preservation Group - COAP Shoot 25.2.23

Attended the COAP shoot at the Lightning Preservation Group at the weekend which for me was a number of firsts, first time at an organised photoshoot as well as my first time at LPG. It was a brilliant afternoon/evening with some great reenactment and also the impressive static reheat run of the Lightning. We were lucky with the weather with a mixture of sun, rain and cloud throughout the shoot but that did leave us with some stunning light for most of the time! Hope you enjoy the shots!

Fantastic set Matt. Yes I am biased as the Lightning is these are lovely. Looks like the weather wasn't great but adds to the atmosphere.

Excellent images. I used to see these at Greenham Common airshows in the early 70's. 89 degree climb angle immediately after wheels up.
