Morayvia - Kinloss Night shoot 2022

Post by Wallace » Sun Nov 13, 2022 8:50 pm

Many thanks to Jim and the rest of the Moravyvia volunteers who made last night possible.
Mainly the aircraft were lit in sequence, I done this last year so I had the flexibility to be a bit more creative with lighting, mainly light painting but I managed to try out something totally new for me.

Herald GAPWJ
Set piece lighting, just catching the shot as the light at the nose was removed

Vampire WZ557

Wessex XT466
Natural back lighting from the moon with light painting.
A white balance nightmare

Jaguar XX743
The latest aircraft to join the collection
Street lighting augmented with some light painting

Merlin ZH821
Stray light from the other set pieces with a bit of moon back light.

Jaguar XZ113
Pure natural light from the moon, with a bit of creative work from the electric string. Got something to work on the fifth attempt.

Not bad value for £20.
30 photos finally edited, 9 rejected outright, 102 that didn't make the cut.
