Coventry Night Life

Post by Seacat192 » Sun Oct 18, 2020 2:31 pm

Spent Saturday evening at a Night Shoot at Coventry Airport, hosted by the Vampire Preservation Group and the Shackleton Aviation Group.

Arriving late afternoon, those attending had the chance to photograph the Vampire departing and then returning from a local flight plus the other classic aircraft that reside in this part of Coventry Airport, plus a couple of visitors:

With dusk setting in, the Shackleton was started for an engine run:

Once the skies had darkened , the lighting was used to illuminate the Vampire, with another fire spitting engine start before she was taxyed around the apron take take advantage of a strategically placed puddle:

Thanks to both groups for organising and hosting the event, and also to you for looking at my efforts. C&C welcome.

Vampire night shots impressive, esp the engine start one with the exhaust flames.
