Sheppard Air Show

Post by david14 » Fri Nov 08, 2019 5:59 pm

A couple of weeks ago Sheppard AFB held its airshow, an opportunity to get close to some of the many instructional airframes used by the 82nd TRW (KC135, A10, F15, F16, C130) and the home of the 80th FTW training NATO pilots using the T6 and T38.
Changes to parking arrangements since the 2017 show, with the introduction of a park and ride system meant you could get much closer this year to the T6 and T38 sun shelters.
The static was a bit thin, but the 3 (of each) special scheme T6s and T38s were very nicely presented

Here's a selection, my highlight was 4 EG F35s (two static and two on the flightline)

Those heritage T-6's are something special along with the SEA T-38, thanks for posting.

So many awesome colored airframes. The blue AT-38 is my favourite... then I saw the mustang T-6... drool....
